Hi everyone! A friend of mine had got a Kyros Coby MID7120-4G. Yesterday, he has given it to me: "I´ve moved to Ipad", he told... (I hate to be bond to Steve Jobs´chains). Well, to start with, I rooted it in just a few seconds thanks to "OneckickRoot" software. Then, I tried to restore my phone backup, even some root applications, on this tablet. Reboot, and what a .... it didn´t boot, it was totally frozen on android logo... Then I tried to update firmware (anyone told near any Coby firmware will run... Damm it!)... and nothing at all. It keeps being frozen and hardly bricked. As it´s still alive, but near dead, I entered this KTZ team to try to rise it up. Thanks a lot for your helping! I need it! And forgive my bad English...

It's my first tablet and I'm trying to root it at the moment.. though having issues doing so with superoneclick.. fails everytime.. Z4 doesn't work.. gingerbreak is a no go.. any help would be appreciated

Hi, I'm rikof. I have 3 Mid1125 which I upgraded to Android 4.0 and another two tablets a tablet Mid7012 which I never use. It was given to me at work but, I find the battery doesn't last long. In the day, I already had a better tablet, a Cruz T510 so I never really cared about using the 7012. I also have a 7048.
I find the Mid1125 sort of slow with the upgrade to Android 4.0 so I'm looking for a rom that can speed it up plus provide more system space

I have a coby kyros 7015 i got for xmas like 2 years ago, its still 2.1 and my kid wants to put games on it. the apps library is out of date and need an upgrade. can I do this easily or just get anther tablet. I am not real tech savy, don't want to get into a bunch of work just want a simple upgrade so we can get games on it.

Welcome to the forum. MID7015 OEM first tablet and the MID7015A are the only two supported here. Your tablet if it one of these two they can be upgraded. But they need to be Rooted and have clockwork recovery on them, and if you haven't done so? Otherwise PowerCode DRX 1000 will root them but only for MID7015 Original and MID7015A. If you have it rooted then PowerCode 535-1000 DCX will give you the full package. Do note I do not support 7014, 7015B or 7015C as of 12.7.13. Smile

@Tipster thank you for your reply and yes I still need to root it and place clockwork recovery on it, but this is something I want to learn to do by myself and when I went to look up PowerCode DRX 1000 it says I can only purchase it. Are there any other steps I can take to learn this on my own? thanks again, codergirl
