Welcome to the forum. MID7015 OEM first tablet and the MID7015A are the only two supported here. Your tablet if it one of these two they can be upgraded. But they need to be Rooted and have clockwork recovery on them, and if you haven't done so? Otherwise PowerCode DRX 1000 will root them but only for MID7015 Original and MID7015A. If you have it rooted then PowerCode 535-1000 DCX will give you the full package. Do note I do not support 7014, 7015B or 7015C as of 12.7.13. Smile

@Tipster thank you for your reply and yes I still need to root it and place clockwork recovery on it, but this is something I want to learn to do by myself and when I went to look up PowerCode DRX 1000 it says I can only purchase it. Are there any other steps I can take to learn this on my own? thanks again, codergirl

Im Hugh, 61 year old from Essex in England.
I own a kyros A37LG (mid9742) which I recently tried to root unsuccessfully. I am now trying to gather as much knowledge as poss to try and fix it.
This is the first tablet I have owned and am very new to android though have been a pc user for many years.

Hello all,
My handle is Rico DeKirin or dekirin (which ever way one wants to do it..lol..) I'm around 54 years, live somewhere in Montana, long to return back to Washington, been working on computers since 1988, and do a lot of research on the internet.
I found KTZ by following lines and lines of chat looking for some answers.
I own a Kyros, the 7015 and was looking to change some things about it; also my 8 year old daughter has a Kyros (not sure which one yet) given to her by her grandfather, who wants me to load games for her.
My tablet is rooted; something I must have done sometime in the last two years, since I don't remember doing so and I don't think it came rooted in the box (z4root).
I haven't installed Clockwork or KTZ, it has that FWN thing...I am thinking of changing it.
Never owned a tablet before, but this one is on Android OS 2.1 and I want to try 2.3 (if I can get it to work); I have rooted all the Android phones I have owned (about 5) with out bricking or trouble (other then long searches sometimes...lol..).

i am died tablet, dont into in android, why change its fimeware , im see in yotube.com.

help a restart the fimeware rom originally defautl.

Have you ever own a Tablet prior to the Kyros? yes S3 Galaxy Note 10.1
Are you still on Android OS 2.1? No on S3 (4.0.4) Unknown on Kyros as I acquired this at my work for free. Previous owner broke the charging port so I had to open and solder the charge plug. Unit is password locked so I have no idea what OS is on it. I am trying to wipe and/or root it. But not finding much luck.

Hello I don't own a KYROS 7022 tablet but a model which is said to be similar to it HCL Me, googled for it and found KATZ forum.
