Looking to improve performance a bit and use it for HTPC remote control dutioes, which it does now with the installation of 1MobileMarket and subsequent installations of Squeezebox remote and Gizmo Remote for JRiver Media Center.

I bought the Coby from Newegg when they were offering it at a price with rebate that amounted to about the same price as a halfway decent hamburger and a coke...

Also, been messing with computers since working as a tech at the old Datapoint Corp. back in 1973 and electronics since I was a kid, but the older I get the less I really want to get down to the nuts and bolts of OS's unless I have to but still haven't , and will not drink, the Mac koolaid!....

Wow.  I dug out my old tablets today and charged them up.  Those would be my Coby Kyros 7015 and my Witstech A81-e.  I moved on to Samsungs a long time ago.

I am so happy that you're still here. There wasn't too much active for the Wits - I kept finding dead links and to be honest, I thought that I was going to have a harder time finding anything for the Coby.

Thanks for hanging in there.  It's still not a bad little tablet.
