I purchased a Kyros 8042 with a functional Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS 4.0.3. I wanted to upgrade it to 4.0.4. and then get Google Play working on it. I did the CWM and thought I backed up the old OS but forgot to put a SD card in the tablet. After I upgraded to ICS 4.04, the touchscreen stopped working. I get the locked screen but can't unlock it. I tried to find the backup with thw CWM but the upgrade must have overwritten it. I tried reloading the new OS without any change. I cleared all caches and it still fails to enable the touch screen. Without the touchscreen I can't enable theUSB for the ADB to load that way but I do have a functional CWM to load via the SD card.
Does anyone have one or both of these to help me fix this problem?:
1. Kyros 8042 ICS 4.0.4 touchscreen drivers upgrade.zip?
2. A backup of the factory Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS 4.0.3. that I could download and reinstall in my tablet so I can get it operational, again?
3. A working 8042 that they would like to swap with mine so they could tinker with this one?
