Did anyone get a Tablet For Christmas?

My Wife got me a Nook Tablet. even though its Not a true Tablet, nonetheless ive Rooted and installed market,gmail,amazon, and side loaded some games from here. so far so good

Sounds like you have a nice wife that cares what you like. Once you root it use our list of Rooted tools they do work on HoneyComb. I use them on all my rooted Android Smartphone too.

No I got myself two Toshiba Thrive 10.1" LED/LCD Dual Core 16GB 1MB of RAM 16GB Class 10 for ES even though it max out at 32GB. during BF so that would be my gift to myself

Well I didnt get no tablet for my birthday, but did get some nice stuff.

As with the great present from tipstir (RSZ) I got the charger for my tablet that tipstir talked about (which is great), a new pair of headphones, computer speakers, some tools, and alot of clothes.

I know I had a pretty good christmas, and hope you all did too!

I got a bunch of stuff. My new tablet should be here in a few days. So I guess I get my best gift after Christmas. My greatest gift was my family altogether.

Wow Tips, you got 2 Toshibas those are the Bomb. I hear their coming out with a 7 inch model thats more my likeing.

The Nook Tablet is defininately Faster than the Nook Color( My Wife and Daughter surprised me with it.. She has a Nook Color already i did root that one with CWM and custimized).

Also, NFS runs very smooth

Im going to try the antutu benchmark and caffeine mark and see what numbers I get.

Trying to get one of the Thrives Rooted but seems it needs to have a GPS lock before the rooting process can kick off. I can jimmy rig it so don't have to go through that denied operation. Over there on TTZ code name BULLDOG would be my first ROM Update for the Thrive. Right now go stuff running to give you 601MB out of 1GB for RAM instead of having only 343MB out of the box. 9GB free out of 16GB - 2GB for OS, but 4-5GB for the bloatware hard loaded on the tablet.

CM3 now shows over 8,000 on Thrive 10.1" with 16GB and 1GB of RAM with dual core Tegra2

My girlfriend gave me a Kindle Fire which while I haven't rooted I've been able to side load just about everything I wanted. It's plenty fast and I can see why it got so much hype. I plan on keeping my 7015 to tinker with and keep updating with tipstir's awesome mods.

Already did & it works great. Thanks as always.

My wife got me the nook tablet but the things they were doing with disabling apps ticked me off. I returned it and ordered a 7127.

i tried to tell my wife to return it because it was too much money.(hoping to get a 7127) but no dice she got insulted, so you no guys gotta keep momma happy. she wanted us to have similar tablets.

Late,but after some problems, I finally got a new tablet I like 8125, the 7024 just wasn't what I wanted, the 8125 seems just fine, just got it minutes ago, so far I have rooted it, now getting system backup, boot.img, and recovery.img off of it.
