CWM touch recovery
I don't know if you guys have seen the new clockworkmod touch recovery 5.8.0.1 or not but it is amazing. Right now it supports about a dozen phones including my EVO it makes flashing Roms and making backups a no brainer. No more scrolling through different screens I can just touch the option I want. I imagine that it requires special drivers per device and I have no idea if we can get this working on any of the Cobys or not but definitely something to keep an eye on.

Well looks like they are using the same method I used in my 8125 recovery.

CWM might make one for that model I don't know, My 8125 recovery had to use touch screen cause coby disabled the volume keys in recovery, so for me to be able to get a working recovery I had to use what was enabled, touch screen, back and menu.
Using the volume keys to me is the best way but if they are disabled, one must be creative.

Re: CWM touch recovery
On the 7127 volume down moves through the menus and volume up selects. There is no back button but the is a work around but it is painful to use. I use an external keyboard if possible it helps.

you have no back button at all or back button doesn't work in cwm?
If you go to testers forum and post the info I need I will make a recovery for 7127 similar to the 8125 using touch screen to select if touch screen is enabled.

Re: CWM touch recovery
The 7127 has a soft key back button that does not work at all. I will check the testers forum and see if I can get you what you need. Thanks.
