Most people will want their tablets just to read books, browse the web, and watch games - they just want it to work out of the box and don't really care which version it is. I can see absolutely no benefit in using 4.0 over 4.2.x (or whatever is newest at manufacture date) as long as the specs are up to it.
I don't know what terms Google have for manufacturers, whether it's a demand for a certain specification to be certified or licence fees or both, but that's probably the only reaon Coby didn't include them before.
They already have a deal with microsoft, by the way, made during the rash of patent suits last summer:

Anyway it's the 7065 and it's $129 and out now with 8 and 10 inchers in March.
You can get the Sumvision Cyclone Voyager in the UK for around £75 (dual core, 1.6ghz, 4.1) and the bigger brands such as the Nexus, Galaxy, and Kindle tablets aren't really out of peoples reach anymore with the days of £400+ tablets long gone.
But for now this 1126 is running JB just fine for me

Hello everyone.
I jusst bought this model or so i thought. It's a MID 7060 not a 7065.
The diference is in the amount of memory (mine is 16 GB) and comes with no Google apps.
Unfortunately i still can't find any info relatd with this even with COBY, does anyone know if in a near future will be possible to update my 7060 to the rom from the 7065 as the later one comes already with google? or is it just a shot in the dark?
I'm am very pleased with the quality and features of the tablet. but not being able to root it or at least having gapps makes it less useful to me
Thanks

I have 7065 tablet, very happy with this tablet. It has all the bells and whistles. (Playstore) This is the best tablet I have used so far.
